Meet the storytellers behind the cameras

Hello! I’m Bella,

I first began my journey with photography when I was 13 years old and had two amazing guides. One was my photography teacher who at the time shot weddings, and my grandfather whose focus was wildlife. Both of these mentors gave me the foundation for photographs I take today. Now I have the pleasure of mentoring my husband, Caleb.

Today, I approach photography from a storytelling perspective. Photography sessions are all based around a story. Whether that be updating family photo because the kids have grown, or because we met someone we want to share our life with. Each story starts with characters, then the setting, and so forth until everything is pieced together to tell your story in ways that feel true to you.

I’m Caleb,

I’ve been interested in the outdoors for as long as I can remember. This came primarily from my heritage and upbringing but also watching series like The Blue Planet and Planet Earth. All of these things combined with my restlessness and curiosity made me interest in wildlife photography.

When I moved to Alaska, I took a deep dive into learning about the animals that inhabit this great state, as well as some of the flora and fauna. When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me hunting for whatever game is in season. This has taken me to some really beautiful spots that I’m able to recommend to Bella to use to tell your next story.
